Start With the RoomMake cabinet choices in context
Cabinets occupy a large visual area, but they do not stand alone. Countertops, backsplash, flooring, wall color, lighting, appliances, and nearby furniture all influence which cabinet color and door style will look intentional. A bright white that looks clean on a small chip can feel too cool next to warm stone. A dark island can add contrast, but it also changes how much visual weight sits in the center of the room.
Door profiles have a similar effect. Classic Shaker works across many interiors. Slim Shaker creates a more contemporary line. Raised panels and arches add traditional character. Hardware can reinforce or soften that direction depending on its shape, finish, and placement.
We also consider the existing cabinet construction. Overlay, hinge type, face-frame dimensions, drawer-front proportions, finished ends, crown, valances, and appliance clearances affect what can be changed cleanly. Those details are measured before replacement doors or new hardware are ordered.
