Why spray cabinet doors?
Spraying allows coatings to level more evenly across rails, stiles, routed profiles, and center panels. It reduces visible brush marks and roller texture when the preparation and application are handled correctly.
Controlled shop spraying is especially valuable for doors and drawer fronts because these pieces receive close visual attention throughout the kitchen.
How the process works
Doors and drawer fronts are removed, labeled, cleaned, prepared, and sprayed in the shop. Cabinet frames and exposed box surfaces remain in the home and are finished with careful masking and protection.
After the coating has cured sufficiently, all pieces are reinstalled and adjusted.
Spraying does not replace proper preparation
A spray gun alone does not create a durable finish. Cleaning, sanding, repairs, primer selection, coating compatibility, application thickness, and curing all affect the result.
The goal is a complete finishing system, not simply a sprayed topcoat.
